Survey on energy consumption status and field test of temperature and humidity for public buildings in Xi’an in summer

Investigates and analyses energy consumption of fifteen public buildings in Xi’an in August 2008, monitors the indoor temperature and humidity for a period of five days around-the-clock, and obtains the mean energy consumption per unit building area from 0.55 to 2.96 GJ/(m²·a), averaged 1.29 GJ/(m²·a). Contrasts them with the data of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Puts forward some problems existed in air conditioning system and some approaches for improving energy utilization.
